Action Groups

St Mary’s church is run by the church ‘Action Groups’.

These groups, consisting of around 5-10 people, meet approximately every six weeks to discuss and take action on various areas of church life including; Finance, Prayer, Children’s and Youth work, Training, Social events, etc.

The groups report to the Church Council (PCC) who oversee the work they do. To be a member of an Action Group usually involves some discussion, planning, prayer, and meetings are usually good fun too!

The church Action Groups are;

Church Services,
Social Events,
Fabric,
Missionary,
Training, Outreach and Evangelism,
Pastoral Care,
Standing Committee,
Children and Families,
Prayer,
Home Groups, and
Youth Work.
