Saturday, 2 December - Christmas Prayer Walk & Card Delivery Day
The time has come to deliver our Christmas Card to homes in the Parish, and your help with this task is needed and valued. The cards will be available in the Church Lounge at 10.00 am, when coffee and perhaps the odd mince pie will also be available!
With more homes being built in the parish, this is a key way to ensure that people are given a friendly invitation to join us for our Christmas services. The more people involved, the less work it is for all of us.
If you are unable to deliver the cards on Saturday,
it would be helpful if you would take them and deliver them during the week.
Saturday, 2 December - St Mary's Players
Our Christmas Special this year is a Murder Mystery Evening at 7pm in the Church Hall.
Tickets are £5 (to include refreshments, please bring your own wine, beer or soft drinks) and are on sale after church services and from the Reception Desk in the Lounge.
Come along, join the fun and help to solve the mystery, it will be an enjoyable and light hearted evening!
Money raised will go to the Children and Families' Worker Fund.
Any queries contact Eddie on 719676 or by email.

Sunday, 10 December - Christingle
Our Christingle Service starts at 4.00pm.
Each piece of the Christingle holds special symbolism to help children understand the importance of Jesus and the Gospel, and its relevance at Christmas time.
The orange represents the world.
The red ribbon (or tape) symbolises the love and blood of Christ.
The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creations.
The lit candle represents Jesus’s light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
This is a short celebration of Christmas which all the family can enjoy!
Please invite your family and friends to this lovely start to the Christmas Celebrations.
If you would like to help us make the Christingles, we shall be in the Choir Vestry at 10am on Saturday, 9 December. I know some of you like to contribute to the cost of making the Christingles; I shall be happy to receive your gifts.
Thank you, Cate Wilby.
