Sunday Services
At St Mary’s we have three flavours of Sunday church service to offer you:
Traditional ~ Contemporary ~ Exploring
Our Traditional services (9.30am in the main church and 6.30pm in the Old Church) include our choir, traditional hymns, and set forms of service. For early risers, there is also an 8am Communion Service each Sunday, in the main church.
The Contemporary 11am services (in the main church) are less formal, with singing led by a small worship band, and with a creche and actvities for children and young people.
At the Exploring services, we meet with God in a variety of inventive ways! Held at 6.30pm, on most first and third Sundays, in the main church.

Several times a year, on special Sundays such as Mothering Sunday and Remembrance Sunday, we hold a "joint service" at 10.30am, when all our congregations can join together in worship.
As a church, we are Bible-based, with a heart for mission and evangelism, supporting initiatives locally, nationally and internationally. We lead an active and vibrant spiritual life, where we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and seek to follow him day by day through the power of his Holy Spirit.
Although our main worship services are on Sunday, many other activities take place throughout the week. Our home groups are at the heart of church life, meeting in different homes for fellowship, Bible study and prayer.
For those enquiring about the Christian faith or wanting to deepen their understanding, Alpha, Start and Discipleship courses are held regularly.
For those who like a quiet, contemplative service during the week, we hold a communion service in the Old Church near the sea-front on Wednesday mornings at 11am.
Our services are open to everyone, and we hope you will always receive a warm welcome. We hope too that you will find something that helps you along the road on your own faith-journey.
If you prefer to check on anything before you come, please feel free to contact the church office, open most weekday mornings, by dropping in or ringing (01255 679164) or emailing enquiries@stmarysfrinton.org
