Sermons

As a Bible-based evangelical church, the sermons preached at St Mary's are based on the Word of God. We use both the Church lectionary and themed sermons in our Sunday teaching programme.

The preaching team consists of the rector, three retired clergymen, a lay reader, and church members who have completed our in-house preaching course.

Occasional preachers include returning missionaries, and invited speakers for special teaching weekends.

Cassette tapes - soon CDs - of Sunday morning sermons are available each week, with, we hope, online sermons also coming soon.
