St Mary’s, Frinton
We have two church buildings in our parish.
Our main parish church is St Mary Magdalene,
in Old Road, Frinton.
This church seats 300 people and is where the main Sunday morning services are held at 9.30am, & 11am, with tea & coffee available at the back of the church from 10.30 to 12.30. The Parish Church forms the hub of church life, housing the church office, and hosting a full diary of events throughout the week.
The Old Church of St Mary the Virgin is situated
at the seafront end of Old Road and
dates back to the 11th Century.
This beautiful small church is open daily for quiet prayer and reflection. A said Holy Communion service is held in the Old Church at 11am every Wednesday morning. Every Sunday evening at 6.30pm sees either an evening prayer or Holy Communion service with choir.
St Mary’s Frinton is in the St Osyth deanery, in the diocese of Chelmsford,
and is an Anglican - Church of England - church.
