Christmas Shoe Box Appeal & Samaritan's Purse

 

The Shoebox Appeal 2022 is now complete. Please consider taking part in this exciting initiative later this year as the scheme takes God’s love and a message of hope to needy children around the world.

Partnering with local churches, Samaritan’s Purse demonstrates God’s love amongst communities in need through conflict or natural disaster (such as the provision of clean water, care and training to help those in poverty, practical care for new mothers, and the establishment of field hospitals to respond to disasters in places such as Ukraine, Sudan, Turkey and Syria).

At St Mary’s we have supported the Samaritan’s Purse ‘Operation Christmas Child’ shoebox initiative for over 25 years, and this continues to impact lives of people in desperate situations across the world. Through gift-filled shoeboxes, families experience Christian kindness in a tangible way and many embrace Christ themselves as a result.
